Building Civilization Based on Pancasila – Pancasila, as the state ideology of Indonesia, has become a strong foundation in building civilization. In this context, civilization is not only limited to material development, but also includes spiritual, social and cultural aspects. Pancasila has basic principles that become the basis for creating a just, prosperous and just society. In the development of civilization based on Pancasila, there are seven main pillars which form a solid foundation for achieving this vision.

First, the first principle of Pancasila is Belief in One Almighty God

Belief in God Almighty is a strong spiritual foundation in building civilization. In carrying out this first precept, Indonesian people will continue to develop the values of piety, mutual respect for religious differences, and uphold tolerance in religious life.

The second precept

Just and Civilized Humanity, places humans at the center of civilization development. This principle teaches the importance of respecting human rights, prioritizing social justice, and building a civilized society. In building a civilization based on Pancasila, the Indonesian people are committed to advancing the quality of life of all citizens without discrimination.

The third precept, Indonesian Unity

important pillar in building a harmonious civilization. Through this principle, Pancasila teaches the importance of maintaining unity and togetherness in diversity. Indonesian people will always strengthen unity, overcome differences through dialogue, and build solid solidarity.

The fourth precept, Democracy Led by Wisdom in Deliberation/Representation, underscores the importance of a democratic system in building a good civilization. This principle emphasizes the need for active community involvement in decision making, respect for human rights, and upholding the rule of law. In a civilization based on Pancasila, public participation and transparent government are important foundations.

The fifth precept, Social Justice for All Indonesian People, emphasizes the importance of equal distribution of wealth and opportunities for all citizens. Pancasila teaches the need to reduce social inequality, pay attention to the marginalized, and realize justice in various aspects of life. In building civilization, Indonesian people will continue to strive to create a just and sustainable social system.

The sixth precept, Hard Work and Creativity for People’s Welfare, teaches the values of hard work, innovation, and creativity in building an advanced civilization. Pancasila encourages Indonesian people to keep trying, develop their potential, and improve their quality of life through real work. In a civilization based on Pancasila, society will always appreciate the values of hard work and reward individual and collective achievements.

The seventh precept, Social and Environmental Order, underscores the importance of maintaining order and balance between humans and nature. In building a civilization based on Pancasila, Indonesian people will always preserve nature, pay attention to environmental sustainability, and respect prevailing social norms and values.

In conclusion, civilization based on Pancasila has a strong footing in sustainable development. Through these seven precepts, Pancasila provides a solid moral, spiritual and social foundation for advancing Indonesian civilization.
